Overview

DKIM-Verify is a software application that can provide DKIM verification for non-DKIM-aware MDAs. Using DKIM-Verify, which functions as a "wrapper" for the MDA, mail originating from and destined to the local domain can be verified. In addition, DKIM-Verify can integrate with mailing-list software to provide verification of messages received for later distribution.

The current version of DKIM-Verify is 0.6.2 (HTTP Download).

Features and Architecture

• XML-based configuration file
• Use of libdkim API; the verification process closely follows that used in dkim-filter
• Non-DKIM-related functions relegated to a utility library liblot
• C++ codebase and object-oriented architecture

Requirements

• libdkim (optionally-installed component of dkim-milter)
• Xerces-C 2.8.0
• OpenSSL (any recent version supported by dkim-milter, I run version 0.9.8)
• libbind (any recent version supported by dkim-milter, I run version 4.1 from Bind 9.5)
• pthreads
